Christmas Cookies '06

Like the rest of the world, we made cookies for the holiday season, but this time was our first attempt at the famous cuccidatti.  You know, those things that have the figs and dates and walnuts and almonds and brandy and lemon and orange and cloves and you mook it all together and make a cookie.  You see them a lot at Italian weddings!!!!!   Here's a few pics of the results.  We made raspberry thumbprints, press cookies, Mexican wedding balls, snicker doodles, stained glass cookies, raspberry bars, and cuccidattis.  Next week, we'll do the cut-outs!!!
