USS Missouri
The Missouri survived the bombing because it wasn't done being built.
It didn't enter the war until a year later. It was the last battleship the
US had built. Strangely enough, the Arizona was the first one of this
class built....kinda like book ends. We don't use battleships
anymore. Most of the Navy is made up of aircraft carriers, destroyers, and
other boats.

16 inch guns fire a 4ft long projectile up to 20 miles.

The white thing in the middle of the pic is a Tomahawk cruise missile launcher.

The Instrument of Surrender

This spot is where the table stood when the document was signed.

The other Surrender document

In the distance the Arizona Memorial is visible. The white moorings on the
left in between marks the spots where the other battleships were when they were
sunk on 12/7/41.
