Sunday

Sunday

Sunday was mostly a day of travel.  Mike was a little concerned about the hassle of dragging 2 sets of golf clubs half way across the hemisphere but between the shuttle bus drivers, curb-side check-in dudes, and hotel valets, we barely had to touch the clubs until it was time to golf!!!  Gotta love that!!

It was about a 1 hour flight to Chicago, then another 8.5 hours from there to Maui.  Tom Clancy is a life saver.  We flew threw 6 times zones so by the time we got to Maui it was only 5pm their time.

We had a top notch dinner at Ruth Christ's Steak house.  All the beef is USDA prime and they grill it at 1600 degrees.  It was cooked to perfection.  Everything they say about this restaurant in the cooking magazines is true....a fine way to end a long day.

After dinner, we wandered around the Shops At Wailea.  It's a very ornate and well developed outside mall with lots of shops and fountains and places to eat.

No pix of this stop as we were in too much of a hurry to eat and the sites to take pictures.
